[NEWS] 120229 JYJ Kim Jaejoong’s Overseas Fanclub Donates 10 Million Won for Jaejoong’s Birthday: Crowned “Superior Fans”

JYJ group member Kim Jaejoong’s overseas fanclub, PrinceJJ, has recently donated 10 million won.

On Janurary 26th, PrinceJJ collected many gifts to celebrate the birthday of Kim Jaejoong and also did a special projects such as raise 10 million won donations for World Vision International’s campaign which sponsors the planting of mango trees in Africa.

JYJ with fellow artists from C-JeS promoted this Mango Tree campaign as part of their Hope Project, and were able to deliver more than 2,000 mango and apple trees to needy countries.

In addition [to the donation, PrinceJJ also gifted to Jaejoong designer tshirts, shoes, jackets, and a CD that was full of birthday wishes from the hearts of international fans. Netizens reacted to the photos of the gifts by saying “Jaejoong’s foreign fans are really great!”, “A donation for a birthday gift is very much Jaejoong’s style”, and “Jaejoong will be so happy, thanks to his international fans”.  Continue reading →

[UPDATE] Mango Tree Donation Drive – World Vision’s Confirmation of Donation

Today, we received email from World Vision that expressed their thanks to fans and also provided the document certifying their receival of JYJ’s International Fans’ donation of 10 million won. This would not have been possible without the support and participation from fans who opened their hearts to the cause and also lent their trust to us. PrinceJJ is very humbly grateful that you’ve entrusted us to organize this donation drive.

Bank Wire Form

The donation was wired on Monday, December 19, 2011 and Bank of America lists South Korea as one of its slow-paying countries. Usually it would take 4 business days before the money reaches South Korea. We will confirm World Vision’s receipt of donation before the end of the year through either a letter from World Vision or we will pay Bank of America to trace the wire and post the wire trace document here.

Thanks to everyone who has helped make this contribution to Mango Tree Project possible. It was wonderful to join hands with JYJ fans all over the world to achieve a common and worthwhile goal.

[Donation Drive] JYJ’s Mango Tree Project

Hello everyone!

JYJ, together with other C-JeS celebrities, recently launched the “Mango Tree Project” in cooperation with Elle-World Vision.  See C-JeS announcement HERE.

In their announcement, C-Jes stated that those who are not Korean citizens can participate in the donation drive by making a contribution through the following bank account:

We understand that there are fans who want to donate but are unable to do so via bank transfers.  As such, we want to offer an alternative to those who wants to donate via paypal or credit card.

We will be accepting donations via our paypal account (email: teamjaejoong@hotmail.com).  Same as before, we will provide you a statement of accounts showing the amounts and names [or usernames] of donors, on a weekly basis, at the least. We will transfer ALL the donated funds to:
