K-pop group JYJ’s Jaejoong met with Japanese fans Tuesday for the last time before joining the army at the end of March.
Jaejoong’s agency C-JeS Entertainment said the star held a fan event at Japan’s Yokohama Arena on Tuesday to bid adieu to his fans.
Jaejoong reminisced with fans about the 2014 MBC drama “Triangle” in which he performed as one of the leading actors.
He also sang several drama-themed songs that he had previously recorded. Fans at the packed arena reciprocated with a surprise event, bringing the star to tears.
The 29-year-old said, “I feel healed for seeing you all today. Let us meet again in two years.”
Jaejoong will enlist in the army on March 31. He will be discharged from service 21 months later on Dec. 30, 2016.
Prior to enlistment he will hold a domestic concert, “The Beginning of The End,” at Korea University’s Hwajung Gymnasium on March 28 and 29.
JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong is moved to tears at Japan fan meeting
JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong held his ‘Triangle Fan Meeting’ on March 24th in Japan, where he shared BTS stories from his drama ‘Triangle,’ and also performed his drama OSTs.
Kim Jae Joong sported bright golden hair for the fan meeting, and wore a casual outfit which was full of spring charms. He then reminisced about highlight scenes from ‘Triangle,’ and mentioned the scenes of Heo Young Dal that left an impression on him. He even did an adlib performance of Heo Young Dal’s four expressions of joy, fury, sad, and happy, and it made for a really adorable sight.
Kim Jae Joong also sang his ‘Triangle’ OST song ‘Even Though I Hate It,’ as well as his 2011 ‘Protect The Boss’ OST ‘Protect You.’
Fans held their light sticks high in the air, and shouted in unison, “Goodbye Jae Joong! We will wait for you! Love you!” Kim Jae Joong said with tears in his eyes, “It’s been very healing for me, after meeting all of you today. I hope I can meet you all again two years later, in even healthier condition.”
Meanwhile, Kim Jae Joong will be holding his ‘The Beginning of The End’ fan meeting on March 28th and 29th at Korea University’s Hwajung Gymnasium, before enlisting in the army on March 31st.
