Kim Jaejoong to Enter Military on March 31
C-Jes Entertainment, Kim Jaejoong‘s agency, confirmed that the singer and actor will be entering the military on March 31.
A report was released on March 4 that JYJ‘s Kim Jaejoong recently confirmed the date for his military entrance. The agency confirmed that the report was true, and added, “He will be spending the remaining time with his fans.”
Kim Jaejoong already has a fan meeting planned for this month. He is also to have a concert on March 28 and 29 titled “2015 Kim Jae Joong Concert in Seoul-The Beginning of The End.” Moreover, he is also to have opportunities to meet his international fans from March 14.
Kim Jaejoong is currently active as an actor in KBS 2TV‘s drama “Spy” and the project is to be his last before entering the military. The last episode of “Spy” will air this Friday at 9:30 p.m. KST.

As previously reported, Jaejoong is holding a fan meeting, ‘2015 Kim Jae Joong Concert in Seoul – the Beginning of the End‘, on March 28-29 at the Hwajung Gymnasium in Korea University.

As reported by Sports Donga, the representative confirmed his enlistment date and stated, “Jaejoong recently received an enlistment notice for March 31. He will spend the remaining time with his fans.”
Several events were scheduled prior to the announcement of his military enlistment.
Jaejoong organized a domestic fan meeting that is scheduled for March, including a special appearance for international fans on March 14.
His dedication to his legions of supporters is also demonstrated through two concerts which will be held in Seoul on March 28 and 29. The two-day engagement was given the apropos title, 2015 Kim Jaejoong Concert In Seoul-The Beginning of the End.
The acting idol, who is popularly known as Jaejoong, debuted as a member of TVXQ.
From 2003 through 2010, he performed as the lead singer of the group, before departing with Yoochun and Junsu to form JYJ.
In 2014, the members of JYJ celebrated their 10-year anniversary with the release of the album “Just Us.”
He continued to be an integral part of JYJ, leading the trio into a new musical era. In 2013, he dropped his first solo extended play album followed by the critically acclaimed studio release, “WWW.”
His notable drama roles include the fastidious corporate officer Cha Mu Won in the 2011 office comedy, “Protect the Boss.” Kim presented balance in the drama, serving as a serious character amidst the jumbled insanity of Ji Sung’s Cha Ji Heon.
He followed his role in “Protect the Boss” with the 2012 period series “Dr. Jin” and the 2014 melodrama “Triangle.” In “Triangle,” he embraced challenging action sequences with ZE:A’s Siwan, while honing his craft through the scenes with veteran film star, Lee Beom Soo.
“Triangle” served as a catalyst for his recent action-packed drama, “Spy.” The final episode of “SPY” will air on KBS2 on March 6.

C-JeS Entertainment announced that Jaejoong will enter the military on March 31.
All Korean men are required under the Constitution to do their military service.
“All citizens shall have the duty of national defense under the conditions as prescribed by Act,” according to Article 39 of Korea’s Constitution.
Upon his enlistment, Jaejoong will undergo four weeks of basic military training. He will serve in the army for 21 months and is expected to be discharged Dec. 30, 2016.
Jaejoong currently stars on the Korean drama “Spy,” which will air its final episode on March 6.
As a farewell event before his enlistment, Jaejoong will hold a fan meeting dubbed as “2015 Kim Jaejoong Concert in Seoul: The Beginning of the End” on March 28 and 29 at Korean University. Tickets to the fan meetings are sold out.
The other two JYJ members are also set for their enlistment.
According to a report, Yoochun will enlist this year while Junsu will enter the army next year. The three JYJ members were born in 1986.
